Apply advanced electrical diagnostics and PLC troubleshooting as an Industrial Electrician supporting Dynacast Peterborough’s in-person manufacturing operation across rotating shifts.

This Industrial Electrician maintains production machines, CNC equipment, and facility systems for improved uptime. The work includes electrical, electronic, mechanical, and facility maintenance, with accurate records and preventative maintenance activities. You will troubleshoot breakdowns, rebuild components, install services, and support die casting operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Troubleshoot PLC, CNC, electrical, electronic, and mechanical breakdowns
- Determine root causes and complete corrective repairs
- Document work orders and recommend recurrence-prevention actions
- Maintain essential services including HVAC, compressors, and fire systems




- Complete monthly preventative maintenance on die casting equipment

Requirements:

- Certificate of Qualification as Industrial 442A or Construction and Maintenance 309A Electrician
- Minimum two years’ electrician experience required
- Minimum three years troubleshooting PLC, CNC, drive, and robot controls
- Advanced electrical, electronic, power distribution, and conduit knowledge
- Blueprint, schematic, and assembly drawing interpretation skills
