Johnson Service Group (JSG) is currently looking for an experienced IT Specialist
- VMware with expertise performing VMware upgrades. This role requires a technical architect/implementer with experience planning and implementing a VMware upgrade from vSphere 8 to VCF 9.x spanning multiple data centers in Canada and the US. Our client runs a capital program each year to implement application and infrastructure changes in support of the business. In relation to these initiatives and operational requirements, they require an Infrastructure Architect/Implementer to assist with the design and upgrade implementation of VMware. Provide input to the IS Infrastructure project deliverables, including schedules, test plans, test results, implementation plans, transition to operations, processes/procedures, and other documents as needed. Develop, implement and review support processes to ensure compliance with policies, standards and regulatory requirements and to ensure mitigation of risk. 2-year post-secondary diploma or a 4-year post-secondary degree in IT or Computing Science related field.

- 10 years of related experience in IT infrastructure. ~VMware Architecture, Design, and Implementation experience is required. ~ Skills and experience as a solution/system architect, working on or supporting infrastructure projects. ~ Understanding of IT business continuity, security, and other risk assessment and optimization methodologies.
