Lead national healthcare architecture strategy at Architecture49, combining client relationships and design excellence across Canada. This full-time role requires national travel.

As National Sector Leader, Healthcare, you will guide growth, reputation, and strategic direction for A49’s healthcare practice. The work spans market insight, procurement expertise, talent development, operational leadership, and innovation. You will collaborate with Regional Managing Principals and Healthcare Leaders to pursue major opportunities, strengthen regional capabilities, and advance healthcare design and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute A49’s national healthcare strategy
- Lead major pursuits, partnerships, and business development initiatives
- Strengthen relationships with health authorities and infrastructure partners




- Advance innovation in planning, resilience, and emerging care models
- Mentor healthcare leaders and support capability building

Requirements:

- Skilled degree in Architecture and Canadian architect registration
- 15+ years leading healthcare architecture, planning, design, or delivery
- Experience with complex healthcare facilities and infrastructure pursuits
- Understanding of Design-Build, P3, and other procurement models
- Established healthcare and infrastructure sector relationships
