Lead health and safety strategy across Ontario mining operations from Timmins, Kirkland Lake, or Sudbury, with occasional site visits and teleworking eligibility.

As Health and Safety Manager, Ontario Region, you will support Detour Lake Mine, Macassa Mine, and development projects. Reporting to the Corporate Director, Health and Safety, you will guide teams, strengthen safety systems, and ensure compliance. The work spans risk management, occupational hygiene, emergency preparedness, and regulatory guidance across underground and open-pit operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Champion zero-harm culture across Ontario operations
- Advise senior leaders on health, safety, risk, and security
- Maintain health and safety management systems and processes
- Lead RMMS, TSM, and VPSHR initiatives




- Monitor safety metrics and report performance

Requirements:

- Post-secondary education in occupational health and safety or related field
- 10+ years of mining health and safety leadership experience
- Experience with underground and open-pit mining operations
- Knowledge of Ontario legislation and mining regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software
