As a Manager and Applied Researcher, you will pursue impactful research while helping deliver AI-powered products. The role supports foundation model development from design through implementation, with potential focus on language models, pre-training, optimization, or fine-tuning. You will work with product and technology leaders on customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

- Own and pursue a focused, impactful research agenda
- Train, evaluate, validate, and implement AI foundation models
- Investigate state-of-the-art language model methods
- Collaborate with engineers, scientists, and product managers




- Communicate research clearly to business stakeholders

Requirements:

- PhD or master's degree plus two years applied research experience
- NLP research experience or focus, where applicable
- Experience with large language model pre-training or fine-tuning
- Knowledge of transfer learning, model adaptation, or guidance
- Publications at recognized machine learning or NLP conferences
