Varicent's MDR vendor oversight requires security leadership across alert triage, SLAs, detection coverage, escalation quality, and remediation coordination. This Security Engineering Manager owns the relationship and performance of Varicent's MDR provider as an individual contributor. The role holds vendors accountable for Tier 1 and Tier 2 analysis, coordinates Tier 3 remediation, and serves as an internal escalation point. It also supports endpoint tooling, security metrics, and Incident Response readiness.

Requirements:
Eight years in Security Engineering, Operations, or Incident Response Third-party MDR or MSSP oversight experience Experience holding security vendors accountable to defined SLAs Security certification such as CISSP, CCSP, CISA, GCIH, or GCIA Familiarity with SOAR, automation, or AI for automation preferred Strengthen Varicent's detection and response outcomes through MDR oversight, endpoint security knowledge, vendor governance, and remediation leadership. #J-18808-Ljbffr
