Lead financial reporting, treasury, and risk management at HIAA, overseeing Accounting Services and supporting accurate, compliant operations.

Reporting to the Director of Finance, this manager leads accounting operations, financial systems, audits, insurance, and regulatory compliance. The position manages close schedules, ASPE statements, internal controls, cash forecasting, and continuous improvement. It also supports the Finance Department and Authority through analysis, reporting, and operational guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead, coach, and develop Accounting Services Specialists
- Prepare and review ASPE financial statements
- Manage cash positions, forecasts, banking, and debt compliance
- Coordinate external audits, disclosures, and statutory filings




- Manage insurance claims, renewals, and related reporting

Requirements:

- Undergraduate degree in accounting, commerce, business, or related discipline
- Required Chartered Skilled Accountant designation
- At least seven years of progressive accounting experience
- At least three years leading and managing employees
- Strong ASPE and advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge
