Responsibilities

- Work with our team of skilled butchers to produce quality cuts of meat for our retail store
- Package and accurately label products
- Assist in grinding meat, producing our in-house sausages and other specialty meats
- Engage with customers when required, and take customer requests
- Assist the Meat Department managers to receive and process wholesale deliveries

Qualifications

- Minimum one year butchery or meat-handling experience
- Experience in proper meat handling and storage
- Able to work efficiently, while maintaining high standards, in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail
- Able to lift and carry heavy products
- Available on weekends
- Motivated to improve your skills and learn from senior butcher staff
- Interest in the prospect to advance within the meat department

Compensation from $17.95/hour, based on experience
