Coordinate outdoor day camp programs at YMCA Camp Pine Crest while guiding staff and supporting children ages 4-12 in Torrance, Ontario.

The Day Camp Coordinator oversees Little Critters and Nature Explorers programming at YMCA Camp Pine Crest. You will support age-appropriate plans, coordinate schedules and spaces, and guide the Day Camp Program Head and Counsellors. The seasonal contract requires availability six days weekly between Monday and Sunday.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee day camp programs for children ages 4-12
- Plan schedules with the Program Head and Coordinator
- Train, coach, motivate, and monitor camp staff
- Communicate daily with families through email and phone
- Supervise the end-of-day value-beads program

Requirements:

- Current National Lifeguard Service certification by employment start
- First Aid and CPR meeting Ontario WSIB requirements
- Three years’ experience in child-oriented programs
- Two years’ supervisory experience in a transferable setting
- Experience planning programs for children ages 4-12
