Serve residents through safe food handling and meal service as a part-time Dietary Aide at Southbridge Exeter in Ontario. This recent home opens in September 2026.

Reporting to the Food Service Manager, the Dietary Aide supports food preparation and dining services in a long-term care home. The position requires resident diet orders, kitchen cleaning, food storage, and labeling. Communication and quality resident care remain central to the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle, store, and label food safely
- Assist cooks with basic food preparation
- Execute food service according to guidelines and protocols
- Serve meals according to resident diet orders
- Clean and maintain kitchen and dining room areas

Requirements:

- Enroll in or complete a college Food Service Worker Program
- Meet Ontario Long-Term Care Homes Act requirements
- Hold a current Safe Food Handling Certificate
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication
- Complete vulnerable sector and two-step TB screening requirements
