The Municipal District of Bonnyville No. 87 invites applications for seasonal Ski & Snowboard Instructors. This position is responsible for teaching guests of all ages and abilities to improve their skiing and/or snowboarding skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

- Instruct guests of all ages and abilities according to CASI/CSIA standards to help improve their skiing and/or snowboarding skills.
- Teach private and group lessons.
- Assist with the organization of school group lessons and camps.
- Participate in weekly training as a department to ensure quality instruction.
- Ensure public and personal safety when using all ski lifts.
- Perform general labour and maintenance tasks on the ski hill as required.
- Assist customers in the rental area as required.
- Adhere to the Alpine Responsibility Code.
- Perform other related duties within the scope of the position as required.

Qualifications:

- CSIA/CASI certification or international equivalent.
- CADS experience or certification will be considered an asset.




- Mature, energetic, dependable, punctual, reliable, and self-motivated.
- First Aid training will be considered an asset.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Maintain a personable and positive attitude when assisting customers.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work with people of all ages and skill levels.
- Ability to perform job tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Qualified attitude and ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Obtain a Vulnerable Sector Check.
- Will be required to work weeknights, weekends, and holidays.
- Class 5 driver’s license will be considered an asset.
