AWS cloud security specialists protect critical services through architecture, Kubernetes security, and automated controls in a fully remote Canadian role. Mandarin communication is essential for distributed collaboration.

This experienced position owns AWS security architecture across a global technology workplace. You will secure containerized workloads and sensitive data while working with operations, DevOps, and enterprise security teams. The work covers threat modeling, monitoring, incident response, compliance translation, and security automation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design defense in depth security architecture across AWS environments
- Strengthen VPC security with Security Groups, NACLs, and PrivateLink
- Secure Amazon EKS infrastructure, networks, and service accounts
- Build CloudWatch, CloudTrail,



GuardDuty, and Security Hub monitoring
- Automate compliance and remediation through Terraform or CloudFormation

Requirements:

- Three to five plus years of hands on AWS experience
- Advanced Kubernetes and Amazon EKS security operations knowledge
- Deep VPC, Transit Gateway, VPN, CDN, and WAF understanding
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Go, or Bash
- Mandarin communication and English reading and writing proficiency
