Peerless Trout First Nation (PTFN) is seeking reliable and responsible individuals to fill (2) Security Guard positions at the PTFN Cultural Camp in Loonskin Bay.If you are interested in security work and take pride in helping keep people and property safe, this may be the opportunity for you Join our team and help maintain a secure and secure environment for camp participants, staff, visitors, and property.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Patrol the campgrounds and surrounding areas regularly.
- Monitor camp activities and ensure safety procedures are followed.
- Report incidents, disturbances, and emergencies to supervisors.
- Maintain a visible security presence throughout assigned shifts.
- Assist with access control and monitor visitors entering and leaving the camp.
- Complete daily activity logs and incident reports.
- Communicate professionally with camp staff, participants, and visitors.




- Respond appropriately to emergencies and safety concerns.
- Perform other related duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS

- Previous security experience is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of public safety and security procedures and protocols.
- Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work evening or overnight shifts, as assigned.
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate responsibility and good judgment.
- Basic First Aid and CPR certification is preferred.
- Fluency in Cree is considered an asset.
- Must reside in Peerless Lake or Trout Lake.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Must provide a valid driver’s licence and a current driver’s abstract.
- Must provide a clear RCMP Police Information Check.
