Ma Mawi Wi Chi Itata Centre seeks an individual to support children ages 0 to 10 entering or re-entering care. The position provides supervision within a culturally appropriate short-term placement, while supporting care plans and children’s developmental and attachment needs. It also involves working with parents and others.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide support and supervision to children ages 0 to 10
- Implement care plans with young children
- Work with parents of children in placement
- Foster growth in relationships and skill development
- Work cooperatively with others as a team member

Requirements:

- Understanding of Indigenous values and community issues
- Child and Youth Care Diploma or acceptable equivalent
- Ability to recognize developmental and attachment needs
- Solid verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work under stressful situations
