This permanent, full time Truck and Coach Technician works in Fleet Services within Public Works. The position services engines, transmissions, brakes, electrical circuits, hydraulic systems, suspensions, and onboard computer systems. You will also test City-owned equipment, operate shop tools, and support safe, compliant municipal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Inspect, service, maintain, and repair truck and coach systems
- Diagnose onboard computer management systems and repair equipment
- Test repairs by operating various City-owned equipment
- Operate shop equipment, welding tools,



and diagnostic testers
- Handle hazardous materials and follow workplace safety requirements

Requirements:

- Secondary School Diploma
- Valid 310T Truck and Coach Technician License
- At least one year licensed technician experience
- Ontario Class D Licence with Z endorsement
- Knowledge of OHSA, WHMIS, and safe mechanic-shop practices
