Job Description
The Production Associate role involves developing manual dexterity for assembly work with multiple small parts such as screws. This position requires computer literacy and competence, including being tech-savvy, using digital assembly instructions, scanning completed orders in SAP ERP, creating support calls to the reactionary team, and following the schedule of work orders according to due date. The role also involves using manual tools like torque drivers, gap filler dispensing guns, soldering irons, and other necessary equipment. Experience with soldering and working with chemicals such as isopropyl alcohol and acetone is beneficial. The position requires the ability to use a magnifying glass for assembly while working in a sitting position and occasionally lifting up to 20 lbs from the floor and above shoulder level. Responsibilities Perform assembly work with multiple small parts, ensuring manual dexterity. Utilize computer systems for digital assembly instructions and scanning completed orders in SAP ERP. Create support calls to the reactionary team. Follow work order schedules according to due dates. Operate manual tools such as torque drivers, gap filler dispensing guns, and soldering irons. Handle chemicals like isopropyl alcohol and acetone safely. Use a magnifying glass for detailed assembly work. Lift up to 20 lbs from the floor and above shoulder level as needed. Essential Skills 1+ years of experience in production, ideally with small parts. Detail-oriented approach to tasks. Ability to use computers efficiently. Proficiency in soldering. Familiarity with blueprints and schematics. Experience with electronic assembly and hand tools. Capability to work with wiring and microscopes. Additional Skills & Qualifications Soldering experience is an asset.

& Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterloo, ON. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.25
- $20.25/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
