Train Package Handlers while loading, unloading, scanning, and sorting freight for FedEx Canada. This temporary part-time assignment runs Tuesday through Saturday.
The Package Handler Trainer supports safe, efficient package movement within and between facilities. You will teach loading, unloading, palletizing, and scanning techniques while completing operational freight tasks. The assignment is seasonal and continues up to January 15, 2027.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload freight within the facility
- Scan and sort freight during operations
- Transport freight between facilities as required
- Train Package Handlers on loading techniques
- Teach safe palletizing and scanning techniques
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Six months of Package Handler experience preferred
- Knowledge of FedEx Canada operations preferred
- Ability to lift 70 pounds and maneuver 150-pound packages
- Valid full G license and positive driving record
