Support clients at home as a casual Home Helper, providing housekeeping, meals, companionship, and reminders during daytime schedules. Work independently and collaboratively.

VON’s Home Help program supports individuals and families at home or after hospital discharge. You will provide homemaking services, complete environmental risk assessments, and collaborate with health care team members. The position requires communication, assessment, and protected service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, vacuuming, mopping, and errands
- Prepare meals and complete environmental risk assessments
- Provide companionship and conversation to clients
- Provide medication and appointment reminders




- Report changes in client needs to coordinators or supervisors

Requirements:

- High school graduation and current CPR and First Aid certification
- Two to three years supporting seniors and people with disabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Personal vehicle, driver’s license, and vehicle insurance
- Satisfactory Criminal Records Check and required health assessments
