Lead cashier and stocking operations at Dollar General while delivering customer service and supporting store controls. This is a full time position.

The Lead Sales Associate acts in a lead capacity when the Store Manager or Assistant Store Manager is absent. Responsibilities include register operation, merchandise stocking, plan-o-gram maintenance, cash handling, and customer assistance. The position supports profitability, customer satisfaction, teamwork, asset protection, and loss reduction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate registers, scanners, and payment transactions accurately
- Stock, rotate, face, and display merchandise
- Assist with plan-o-gram implementation and maintenance
- Open or close the store under direction
- Authorize refunds, count registers, and make deposits

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Six months supervisory or related experience preferred
- Knowledge of cash handling and deposit control procedures
- Ability to perform IBM cash register functions
- Ability to read and follow plan-o-grams
