Prepare healthy meals and snacks as a Language Nest Cook while supporting Denesuline language learning through daily routines.

This position combines cooking, kitchen safety, inventory control, and language support. You will follow nutrition guidelines, maintain sanitary cooking areas, track supplies, and order ingredients within a set budget. The work supports children, staff, teachers, Elders, and other staff.

Key Responsibilities:

- Cook healthy snacks and meals on the daily schedule
- Follow established nutrition guidelines during meal preparation
- Clean and sanitize kitchens, equipment, and utensils
- Track food supplies and prepare grocery lists
- Use common local language nest words during routines

Requirements:

- Previous cooking or commercial kitchen experience
- Valid Food Handlers safety certificate
- First Aid/CPR preferred or required in Alberta
- Valuable teamwork and listening skills
- Ability to work with teachers and Elders
