Support adults with intellectual disabilities as a live-in Assistant with L'Arche Canada, using compassion, flexibility, and caregiving skills daily.

This full time Assistant role involves living alongside Core Members in a L'Arche home. You will help adults with intellectual disabilities pursue meaningful lives through personal care, community participation, household support, and relationship building. English or French opportunities are available.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support morning and evening routines
- Assist with bathing and toileting as needed
- Administer medication under medical direction
- Accompany Core Members to appointments and activities
- Cook, clean, shop, and complete yard work

Requirements:

- Proficiency in written and spoken English or French
- Open attitude and ability to work on teams
- Creativity, flexibility, organization, and attention to detail
- Caregiving experience beneficial but not mandatory
- Valid passport and vulnerable sector criminal reference check
