Support outpatient pharmacy operations at Toronto General Hospital through merchandising, cashier functions, and customer service. This is a permanent full-time position.

UHN seeks a Merchandising Technician for its Outpatient Pharmacy. Working under Operations leadership, you will order, receive, price, and merchandise prescription and non-prescription items across multi-site pharmacies. The position also supports technical pharmacy functions and prescription deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

- Order, receive, and price prescription and non-prescription items
- Perform merchandising and cashier functions
- Organize revenue-generating promotions and customer interest
- Coordinate stale-dated merchandise and product returns




- Assist with prescription packaging, deliveries, and invoice reconciliation

Requirements:

- Grade 12 or recognized equivalent
- One year of related merchandising experience, preferably healthcare
- Very valuable verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Knowledge of pharmacy operations, practices, and regulations
- Basic Excel and MS Word skills are an asset
