This Medical Laboratory Assistant supports pre- and post-analytical tasks, routine technical procedures, and laboratory support activities. The work includes patient registration, order entry, specimen preparation, and information sharing. Key Responsibilities:

- Collect, receive, and prepare specimens
- Register patients and enter laboratory orders
- Provide information to patients
- Perform routine maintenance, decontamination, sterilization, and cleaning
- Maintain inventories and complete office duties

Requirements:

- Graduate of a Medical Laboratory Assistant program or equivalent
- Successfully challenge the Canadian Society for Medical Laboratory Science exam
- Attend work regularly
- Perform the position's duties
