This 40-hour weekly position supervises yard personnel and customer service while coordinating unloading and deliveries. You maintain equipment, monitor safety and fire compliance, control costs, and help keep labour productive. The role also supports inventory reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain receiving and delivery schedules
- Supervise customer service throughout the yard
- Maintain safe operation of forklifts and carts
- Report out-of-stock and surplus items appropriately
- Train employees to consider add-on sales
Requirements:
- High School graduation or equivalent
- One to two years of retail experience is an asset
- Availability for versatile weekend and holiday schedules
- Ability to supervise safety and fire compliance
- Ability to assist customers in a friendly manner
