Deliver patient-centred mental health services at Providence Care Hospital as a full-time Registered Nurse with acute psychiatric experience and current CPR certification.

This Registered Nurse partners with patients and families while collaborating with the clinical team. The position applies the nursing process to complex mental health care, coordinates each patient’s journey, and supports maximum independence and wellness. Qualified judgment guides care evaluation and revision.

Key Responsibilities:

- Complete nursing histories from multiple information sources
- Create nursing care plans based on assessed needs
- Collaborate with patients on goal-oriented care planning
- Accurately implement prescribed medical regimes
- Analyze and manage changes in client responses

Requirements:

- Current unrestricted Ontario nursing registration
- Recent experience in acute psychiatric care
- Current CPR certification
- BSc.N. preferred
