Help enhance employee experience through human resources consulting, research, and project support. This full time Employee Relations Consultant I role is based in Thunder Bay.

Working with Human Resources colleagues, leaders, and union representatives, you will help foster respectful, inclusive, productive workplace relationships. You will provide guidance on employee relations matters and contribute to projects involving staffing, development, training, compensation, and perks. Collective bargaining preparation is also part of the work.

Key Responsibilities:

- Support leaders with routine employee relations consultations
- Research salary, compensation, grievances, and bargaining topics
- Participate in employee experience and training projects




- Analyze proposal costs and collective agreement impacts
- Provide advice during assigned discipline and grievance matters

Requirements:

- Diploma in human resources management or related discipline
- Experience working in human resources or employee relations
- Concise written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to maintain effective workplace and union relationships
- Research, time management, analytical, and problem solving skills
