As a Capture Device Operations Engineer, you will carry issues from first report through verified resolution for a growing device fleet. You will prepare deployments, support remote diagnostics and updates, and provide operators with actionable instructions. Your evidence-based work helps reduce downtime across locations, operators, and real-world conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage reported issues through diagnosis and verified resolution
- Configure devices and perform software updates before deployment
- Diagnose peripherals, networking, data transfers, and Linux behavior




- Write operational scripts and repeatable troubleshooting procedures
- Inspect returned devices and confirm readiness for reuse

Requirements:

- Three to four years troubleshooting combined hardware and software
- Hands-on Linux command-line and network diagnostic experience
- Python or shell scripting for operational automation
- Experience validating behavior after configuration changes
- Ability to document evidence and practical reproduction steps
