A noodle manufacturer in Richmond, BC is looking for associate level Machine Maintenance person to join their production team. We are looking for someone with minimum of 2 years of machine maintenance experience in food manufacturer workplace. This position is Full-Time and Direct Hired position on Monday to Friday (1:00 PM - 9:30 PM). (Please note you will be asked to work outside of the hours if machines broke down).

Job Duties for Machine Maintenance:

- Diagnose: Solve mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical problems, dismantle broken equipment, and swap out defective components
- Repair: Make effective repairs and identify areas for improvement
- Educate: Foster a better understanding of how to avoid unnecessary downtime by advising others regarding their interactions with manufacturing equipmen
- Repair anything on the facility such as fix lighting, plumbing, drywall, paint, doors and hardware, and office furnishings & fixtures, etc...
- Check and Work on Systems (Electrical circuits, water supply, HVAC units, kitchen appliances, loading dock doors and levelers, commercial coolers/freezers, forklifts and other vehicles)
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct everyday maintenance including change filters, lubricate moving parts, clear drains, test equipment function
- Support Safety with Proception Manager: Take necessary steps to ensure compliance with worker and food safety requirements
- Communicate with Vendors & Contractors: Communicate with and external vendors and contractors if it is needed
- Inspect: Make sure all equipment operate, complete checklists for production activities,



read meters and gauges to ensure everything is good on the floor
- Other duties are assigned by managers

Requirements for Machine Maintenance:

- Canadian Work Authorization (Canadian Citizen or PR ONLY because the company cannot support your immigration )
- Car and Driver License (The facility has no public transpiration access)
- 2 years of hands-on industrial maintenance, equipment repair, or similar experience in a manufacturing environment
- Post-secondary education or technical training in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, or a related field
- Ability to independently troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair production equipment following an initial training and handover period
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals, drawings, work orders, and equipment documentation
- Experience with conveyors, mixers, compressors, packaging equipment, or other automated production equipment
- Experience with electrical systems, controls, or PLC troubleshooting/programming.
- Welding, machining, or fabrication experience
- Ability to work 1:00 PM - 9:30 PM on weekdays and occasional overtime
