We are seeking a talented 3D Render Artist to join our team. You’ll take architectural models and drawings and turn them into photorealistic exterior and interior renderings, walkthroughs, and presentation visuals that help clients, municipalities, and lenders understand our designs. This role calls for a strong visual eye, technical fluency in rendering software, and the ability to collaborate closely with our drafters and designers.

Responsibilities

- Produce high-quality exterior and interior renderings from Revit, SketchUp, and other 3D model sources using D5 Render, Enscape, Lumion, Twinmotion, or similar

- Create animated walkthroughs, flythroughs, and short presentation videos for client and marketing use

- Build and manage material libraries, lighting setups, landscaping, entourage, and site context

- Collaborate with the design team to interpret drawings accurately and ensure renderings reflect the design intent

- Prepare presentation boards, concept imagery, and visuals for development permit and rezoning submissions

- Revise renderings based on feedback from clients, designers, and project leads while maintaining clear communication throughout

- Post-process images in Photoshop or equivalent to achieve polished, consistent output

- Maintain organized project files, render assets, and version records

- Support the firm’s social media and marketing content with portfolio-quality imagery

Qualifications





- Proficiency in at least one real-time rendering engine (D5 Render, Enscape, Lumion, or Twinmotion);

experience with V-Ray or Corona is an asset

- Working knowledge of Revit and/or SketchUp for model preparation and cleanup

- Strong understanding of composition, lighting, materials, and architectural photography principles

- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop for post-production

- Familiarity with animation and video editing (Premiere, After Effects, or similar) is a plus

- Understanding of residential and light commercial construction and how buildings actually go together

- Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines

- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude

- Diploma or degree in architectural technology, 3D visualization, design, or a related field preferred

- 1–2 years of architectural visualization experience required
