Our client is seeking a Finance Director to lead the organization's finance and accounting functions while serving as a key business partner to the President and leadership team. This hands-on leadership role provides strategic and operational oversight across financial reporting, business planning, cash management, banking relationships, government funding programs, product costing, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate will bring robust manufacturing finance experience, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate financial and operational data into actionable business decisions.

and overall business performanceEvaluate capital investments, business opportunities, and strategic initiatives through sound financial analysisStrengthen financial controls, reporting processes, and ERP utilization while driving continuous improvement initiativesLead, mentor, and develop the finance team while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous growthYour strengths include:
CPA designationProgressive finance and accounting leadership experience, preferably within a manufacturing environmentStrong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, and cash flow managementDemonstrated experience with product costing, inventory accounting, and operational performance analysisExperience managing banking relationships, credit facilities, financing arrangements, and lender reportingExperience administering grants, government funding programs, loans, or incentive agreementsStrong financial modelling, ERP, and advanced Microsoft Excel skillsAbility to provide practical financial leadership and translate analysis into actionable business recommendationsExperience within food manufacturing considered an assetCollaborative, hands-on leadership style with strong business judgment and a continuous improvement mindset
