Lead aeroelasticity analysis for Bombardier aircraft using MSC Nastran and finite element models. Flexible and hybrid work policies apply when applicable.
As a Professional Senior Engineer, you will support aircraft design studies and in-service airworthiness within Loads and Dynamics. Your expertise will connect unsteady aerodynamics, structures, weight, inertia, and frequency-based data analysis. You will also contribute to testing and certification.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze aeroelastic and aeroservoelastic aircraft behaviorMaintain finite element models supporting aeroelastic analysisSupport computational aeroelasticity research and developmentCoordinate with Advanced Design, Mass Properties, and Control LawsSupport flutter, vibration, wind tunnel,
and certification activitiesRequirements:
At least nine years of aerospace industry dynamics analysis experienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical EngineeringExperience with MSC Nastran energetic and aeroelastic analysisExperience analyzing frequency-based data and aeroelastic FEMStrong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skillsUse advanced aeroelasticity, testing, and data analysis capabilities to support Bombardier Aerospace aircraft engineering programs.
