About the role We are a growing produce distribution company serving ~75 restaurant customers across Montréal, Laval and Ottawa. We are looking for an experienced accounts payable clerk — not a data-entry clerk. Your job is to make sure we only pay what we actually owe: every supplier bill verified against what was received and the agreed price before it is approved for payment.

Responsibilities - Verify supplier bills against delivery/receiving records and agreed prices (3-way match) before approval - Reconcile supplier statements against QuickBooks weekly — line by line — and resolve differences directly with suppliers - Track due dates, payment terms and credit holds; prepare the weekly payment run for management approval (you prepare, management pays) - Detect and stop duplicate bills, duplicate payments, price increases and quantity errors — before payment, not after - Follow up with suppliers by phone and email for missing invoices, credits and corrected statements - Keep the accounts payable aging clean and current in QuickBooks Online Requirements - Minimum 2 years of hands-on accounts payable experience (verification and reconciliation, not only data entry) - QuickBooks Online experience required - Bilingual French / English (spoken and written)

Vérification des factures fournisseurs (quantités reçues, prix convenus), conciliation hebdomadaire des relevés fournisseurs dans QuickBooks Online, préparation des paiements pour approbation, suivi des litiges directement avec les fournisseurs. Minimum 2 ans d'expérience en comptes payables, bilingue FR/EN, QuickBooks Online requis.

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
