We are looking for an experienced Accounts Payable qualified for a contract opportunity in Mississauga. This stand-alone role requires someone who can independently manage high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable, from invoice processing through vendor payments and reconciliation. Hands-on SAP experience is required.

Responsibilities

- Manage high-volume, full-cycle accounts payable and process invoices and payments accurately and on time.
- Review invoices for documentation, approvals, and general ledger coding.
- Complete three-way matching of purchase orders, receiving records, and vendor invoices.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and unmatched transactions.
- Prepare and process scheduled payment runs, including cheque runs, in accordance with internal controls.
- Maintain invoice, vendor, and payment information in SAP.
- Reconcile vendor statements and accounts payable balances, and follow up on outstanding items.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues.
- Maintain organized AP records and support month-end activities and audit requests.
