Position: Administrative Assistant
Requirements:
- Previous administrative experience and/or related education
- Confident with Microsoft 365 & other software; Sage HR and Sage 50 experience are assets
- Strong communication, organization, follow-through, and comfort supporting employees and managers
Responsibilities:
- Working knowledge of BC employment standards, WCB/WorkSafeBC, safety administration, and confidentiality
- Manage Indeed and LinkedIn postings, resume screening, interview scheduling, and in-person interview support
- Coordinate employee onboarding, offboarding, employee records, documentation.
- Support administration of accurate employee information for payroll and records
- Support benefits administration and assist staff with questions, forms, and updates.
- Support WCB compliance, WorkSafeBC administration, claims documentation,
safety committee requirements, training, and follow-up records
- Support performance review scheduling, documentation, follow-up, and employee development tracking
- Assist with employee communication, workplace culture, staff engagement, event organization, and general HR support
Wage: $60,000-$68,000 per year, based on experience Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
