Kiewit Industrial is adding Structural Engineers for projects across North America. This position covers system selection, analysis, drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements from concept through construction. Depending on level, you may lead projects, mentor engineers, and coordinate with construction partners, fabricators, vendors, and owners.
Key Responsibilities
Research systems and prepare designs for moderate to large projectsOversee calculations, drawings, and specifications under applicable standardsMentor entry and mid-level employees through coaching and reviewIncorporate EPC, RFP,
and professional service agreement requirementsRecommend standards and process improvements when neededRequirements:
Five or more years designing industrial steel and concrete structuresEngineering bachelor’s degree from an ABET-accredited programPENG designation or progress toward completion within eighteen monthsKnowledge of CSi SAP2000, SAFE, and RISA SuiteEffective written and verbal communication across project disciplinesApply your industrial engineering judgment, structural analysis, and mentoring experience to Kiewit projects across North America.
