Prepare technical documents related to procurement of electrical equipment independently or under direction of Project Manager, including: Low & Medium Voltage SwitchgearGas-Insulated SwitchgearMotor Control CentersTransformersMotors, Synchronous MachinesVariable Frequency DrivesBESS SystemsPre-Fabricated E-HousesSite/Shop Electrical ConstructionSubstation Equipment Perform electrical engineering calculations independently as required, including:
Electrical load flowVoltage Drop & Cable AmpacityLighting CalculationsShort Circuit & Arc Flash StudiesDevice CoordinationGround Potential RiseRelay Settings Files & Protection PhilosophiesReliability Studies Develop construction work packages along with electrical designers for a complete including: Single Line Diagrams & Three Line DiagramsArea Classification DrawingsCable SchedulesMotor Control SchematicsElectrical Layouts & Installation DetailsPanel Schedules Arrange all project related documentation in a qualified manner to ensure timely retrieval and reference.
Act as custodian of international codes, standards and technical specifications used by their team.
Assist in the operation and maintenance of Bluestar’s library by organizing and maintaining project related files, records, drawings and correspondence and complete suitable archiving and storage of all completed projects.
Maintain Engineering hours within established project budget.
Post-secondary diploma in Process Piping Design or equivalent program.
Working knowledge of applicable industry codes, standards, practices, and procedures involved with the piping discipline.
