As Senior Estimator, you will help establish Specified’s dedicated Architectural Facades division. You will prepare accurate, competitive estimates while engaging general contractors, consultants, architects, suppliers, and manufacturers. The position also supports business development, strategic planning, market monitoring, and relationships across Ontario’s commercial construction community.

Key Responsibilities

Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate supplier and subcontractor quotationsDevelop accurate budgets, estimates, and tender submissionsAttend pre-tender meetings, site visits, and client meetingsBuild relationships with contractors, consultants, architects,



and manufacturersMonitor material pricing, market conditions, and industry trendsRequirements:
Eight-plus years of commercial cladding or building envelope estimating experienceThorough understanding of commercial construction practices and contract documentationExcellent mathematical, analytical, communication, and negotiation abilitiesOrganization and detail focus managing multiple tenders under deadlinesBluebeam, AutoCAD, estimating software, or take-off tools considered an assetUse commercial construction knowledge and client-focused estimating skills to support Specified’s Architectural Facades growth across Ontario.
