HP IQ is HP's AI innovation lab building intelligent technologies across HP's portfolio. The team seeks a Senior Digital Product Designer focused on design systems and creative operations to own the design foundation that scales HP IQ across products, platforms, and verticals. This is a senior individual contributor role with cross-team influence that partners closely with engineering to ensure design intent translates to shipped product across Windows, Android, and beyond.

What you'll do

Drive the development and evolution of HP IQ's shared design library and systems infrastructure across products and platformsDefine and design product features, user flows, and interaction patterns with clear documentation and rationalePartner closely with software engineering teams to ensure high-quality implementation and execution fidelity across native platformsBuild bridges between design and development workflows through tooling, code-connected systems, and scalable component strategiesCollaborate with brand and visual design teams to extend and implement HP IQ's visual language across product experiencesContribute design leadership to Verticals and other emerging intelligent systems initiativesEstablish scalable processes, documentation standards,



and cross-functional design practicesMentor designers across the team and elevate the design org's systems literacy and craftWhat they're looking for
7+ years of experience designing, prototyping, and shipping digital products, with demonstrated impact at a senior IC scopeStrong portfolio demonstrating shipped digital product experiences, sophisticated systems thinking, and work that has measurably shaped product directionDeep experience building and scaling design systems and component libraries, including tokens, governance, documentation, and supporting toolingExperience designing across multiple platforms (Windows, macOS, web) with understanding of platform-specific interaction conventions and developer handoff requirementsFluency in modern design tools, with deep expertise in Figma (variable systems, advanced component architecture, plugin development)Solid foundation in user-centered design principles, visual design, typography, and interaction designExperience designing for AI-driven experiences, intelligent systems, or next-generation productivity toolsExcellent communication and storytelling skills to articulate design rationale to engineers, executives, and cross-functional partners
