Red Helicopter Service Inc. is seeking a professional base manager for the upcoming 2027 spray season. (Seasonal: May 2027 – October 2027)

We are looking for a reliable, highly organized, and proactive Base Manager to oversee our aerial crop-dusting base operations for the 2027 season. In this role, you will serve as the operational backbone of the base, coordinating ground crew activities, managing chemical inventory, maintaining our fleet of support trucks and trailers, and ensuring secure, efficient, and seamless daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Team Leadership & Work Assignment: Supervise and lead the ground crew, assign daily work orders, provide clear direction, and foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and safety.
- Chemical Management & Storage: Oversee the safe receiving, organization, and proper storage of all agricultural chemicals. Maintain accurate inventory and tracking records.
- Fleet & Equipment Maintenance: Coordinate and manage the maintenance of our fleet of support trucks and trailers. Perform hands-on mechanical repairs when capable, or effectively delegate and oversee repairs with external shops/mechanics.
- Operations & Software Tracking: Utilize our internal RHS app to track work orders, log maintenance schedules, and keep operations streamlined.




- Fuel & Supplies Coordination: Monitor and order fuel and essential base supplies to ensure the operation never misses a beat.

Qualifications & Skills
- Required:
- Proven experience in team supervision, leadership, and practical management.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail and responsibility.
- Mechanical aptitude, basic knowledge of vehicle/trailer maintenance, and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Clear and effective English communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, seasonal agricultural environment.

- Preferred
- Prior experience in agricultural aviation, ground crew management, or industrial/fleet maintenance.
- Familiarity with chemical handling safety protocols and inventory management.
- Experience using operations apps or digital work-order tracking platforms.
