This full time Inspector, Capital Works position sits within Downtown Revitalization and coordinates construction projects and contracts. You will inspect City-administered work, support consultant-administered projects, verify materials, coordinate testing, and maintain project records. The role requires practical civil engineering technology knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and coordinate Downtown Revitalization construction projects and contractsAdminister contracts and inspect work against standardsInspect delivered materials and perform routine quality testingPrepare reports, progress certificates,



and extra-work recordsConduct meetings and resolve field construction problemsRequirements:
Grade 12 graduation plus Civil Engineering Technology programOver two and up to four years’ related experienceCertified Engineering Technologist designation through OACETTValid, non-probationary Ontario Class G licenceProficiency with Microsoft Office applicationsApply civil engineering technology, inspection, and contract administration expertise to City of Brampton construction projects.
