Electrical Design Engineer industrial control panel design, building automation systems, and HVAC unit controls. Team Lead position, overseeing multiple employees and projects. Design and update electrical wiring diagrams to achieve project-specific HVAC sequences of operation. Develop and manage bills of materials (BOMs) and ensure accuracy in designs. Collaborate with electrical and mechanical engineering teams to integrate system designs. Lead process improvements between shop workers and designers to optimize efficiency. Apply knowledge of HVAC air handlers, direct/indirect fired units,



air conditioning systems (DX, chillers, evaporative), and make-up air units. Write sequences of operation for HVAC units. Provide technical support to electricians on the production floor. Utilize AutoCAD at an intermediate level or higher. Support projects with PLCs, HMIs, and operator interface controllers (Allen Bradley, Distech, Schneider). HVAC equipment unit experience is an Asset. Professional background as a Master/Journeyman Electrician or Electrical Engineer Hands-on experience designing industrial control panels (UL 508A knowledge required). Strong understanding of building management systems (BMS/BAS) – asset. Familiarity with electrical power, controls, pneumatics, and operational processes. Programming exposure with PLC/HMI systems preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD (intermediate or higher). Competitive Wages – Based on experience and trade tickets.
