Shape GO and UP Express rail operations through fleet management and passenger operations expertise within Metrolinx’s Network Operations Planning team.
This Rail Operations Specialist supports future rail network expansion projects at Metrolinx. The work covers operational requirements, fleet and infrastructure design, contemporary train control, electrification, and project coordination. You will help ensure projects reflect operational needs, safety considerations, and day-to-day railway requirements.

and equipment impactsReview designs for operational constraints and safety considerationsSupport train control and electrification preparedness activitiesFacilitate workshops and represent Network Operations in project groupsRequirements:
Degree in transportation, planning, business, electrical, communications, or related disciplinePassenger railway operations experience is an assetRailway electrification or electric rolling stock experience is an assetProject management and systems requirements experienceStrong communication, time management, and presentation skillsApply rail operations, fleet management, train control, and electrification knowledge to support Metrolinx network expansion projects.
