Lead technical services and operations support for East Gwillimbury’s Public Works, applying municipal infrastructure expertise across essential services. This is a full time leadership role.
Reporting to the Director of Public Works, the Manager oversees water, wastewater, stormwater, roads, streetlighting, solid waste, and traffic operations. The position also leads compliance, contracts, performance reporting, capital planning, asset management, and operational programs. You will guide staff, address service disruptions, and provide technical input to infrastructure planning and development activities.

Key Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance across municipal Public Works servicesLead drinking water compliance and DWQMS activitiesResolve infrastructure deficiencies, disruptions,



and customer concernsDevelop operational programs and standard operating proceduresPrepare reports, business cases, and recommendationsRequirements:
Post-secondary education in engineering or related disciplineMinimum eight years of progressive relevant experienceDemonstrated supervisory or management experienceValid G license and satisfactory driving recordStrong analytical, communication, and report-writing skillsApply municipal infrastructure, compliance, contract, and leadership expertise as East Gwillimbury’s Manager, Technical Services and Operations Support.
