Lead community asset management at SȾÁUTW̱ First Nation through preventative maintenance, lifecycle planning, and reliable digital records. This is a full-time role.
The Community Asset Manager coordinates buildings, facilities, infrastructure, vehicles, equipment, and other physical assets. Working across Public Works, Capital Projects, Housing, Finance, and Lands & Workplace, you will strengthen asset information, risk-based planning, regulatory compliance, and culturally respectful stewardship. The position reports to the Director of Public Works & Capital Projects.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain comprehensive asset inventories, registries, and lifecycle informationDevelop preventative maintenance schedules and centralized work ordersCoordinate inspections, contractors, servicing, and operational readinessSupport capital plans, funding applications,



and project handoversPrepare reports covering condition, risks, budgets, and deferred maintenanceRequirements:
Diploma or degree in asset, facilities, engineering, construction, or related studiesThree to five years of progressively responsible related experienceExperience with inventories, maintenance, lifecycle planning, procurement, and budgetingProficiency with Microsoft Office, databases, maintenance systems, and digital recordsValid Class 5 BC driver’s licence or ability to qualifyApply asset management, data analysis, contractor coordination, and risk assessment to sustain SȾÁUTW̱ community services.
