This Legal Counsel role supports an investment group and its portfolio companies. Reporting to the VP, Legal & Risk, you will handle corporate, commercial, securities, and regulatory matters. Your work will support project, procurement, operational, and corporate development activities across the organization.

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreementsSupport mining project and equipment supply contractsAdvise teams on contractual obligations and risksAssist acquisitions, joint ventures, and financingsCoordinate external counsel across multiple jurisdictionsRequirements:
Three to five years of post-call experienceCanadian provincial law society membership in valuable standingStrong drafting, negotiation, research, and analytical skillsCorporate governance, commercial, or securities law experienceMining, natural resources, or construction familiarity preferredApply corporate, commercial, and project counsel expertise to support responsible growth across a natural resources portfolio.
