Reporting to the Vice President, Estimating & Preconstruction, you will lead commercial and institutional waterproofing estimates. Apply knowledge of building envelope systems, contract documentation, and constructability. Engage clients, consultants, suppliers, and subcontractors while supporting strategic division growth.

Key Responsibilities

Lead estimating for commercial and institutional waterproofing projectsReview drawings, specifications, geotechnical information, and contract requirementsPrepare quantity take-offs, budgets,



and competitive tender submissionsEvaluate quotations and negotiate supplier and subcontractor pricingDevelop estimating systems, cost databases, and standard costing modelsRequirements:
Eight or more years estimating waterproofing, roofing, or building envelope constructionTechnical knowledge of commercial and below-grade waterproofing systemsAbility to interpret architectural, structural, civil, and shop drawingsExperience estimating projects from approximately $250,000 to $10 million or moreProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelBring waterproofing expertise, analytical pricing, and relationship-building skills to Specified’s expanding Ontario estimating function.
