The Senior Mechanical Design Engineer supports the Engineering Manager and engineering team across product development, manufacturing, assembly, testing, and documentation. You will create mechanical designs, assess manufacturability, and collaborate with service, production, manufacturing teams, and suppliers. The work includes electro-mechanical systems and customer deliverables.

Design 3D mechanical assemblies and fixtures using SolidWorksGenerate 2D drawings and engineering documentationParticipate in product development and manufacturing activitiesReview manufacturability,
costing, and electro-mechanical lead timesDevelop assembly procedures and manufacturing documentationRequirements:
Bachelor’s degree or Mechanical Engineering Technologist DiplomaFive or more years of applicable work experienceStrong 3D CAD experience, preferably SolidWorksKnowledge of drawings, schematics, bills of materials, and GD&TKnowledge; of CNC machining, sheet metal, and injection moldingBring senior mechanical design expertise, SolidWorks proficiency, and manufacturing knowledge to Sonele’s Markham engineering team.
