AbbVie seeks Legal Counsel in Montreal with commercial legal advice, pharmaceutical compliance knowledge, and advanced French and English proficiency. The position is based in Montreal.
This experienced Legal Counsel reports to AbbVie Canada’s Head of Legal. You will support core businesses and enterprise-wide initiatives through strategic advice, risk-based solutions, and practical guidance across complex Canadian matters and global projects.

Key Responsibilities

Advise Marketing, Medical Affairs, Trade, and Market Access teamsGuide promotion, patient support, payer access, and collaborationsDraft, review,



and negotiate commercial and corporate agreementsResolve complex legal matters independently using sound risk perspectivesDirect outside counsel and manage project objectives and budgetsRequirements:
Law degree from a recognized universityCanadian license to practice law, preferably in QuebecThree to five years of relevant legal experienceExperience in pharmaceutical or highly regulated industries preferredAdvanced oral and written French and English proficiencySupport AbbVie’s Canadian business with commercial counsel, regulatory judgment, agreement negotiation, and bilingual stakeholder communication.
