This is a varied role combining project management, electrical expertise, estimating, commercial awareness and team leadership, working across a diverse portfolio of commercial, retail and industrial projects valued from £10,000 to £1,000,000. Job Description
What You’ll Be DoingReporting to an Executive Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful estimating,



management and delivery of electrical projects, working closely with clients, the Building Services team, Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors and suppliers. You will help ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, to programme, within budget and to the highest standard, while maintaining strong client relationships. This is a key role within the team, contributing to strong communication, collaboration, and a culture built on Building, Sharing, and Caring throughout project delivery. Lead the delivery and management of electrical projects from tender and estimating through to completion and final account. Prepare estimates, tenders, quotations and pricing documents, including reviewing drawings, specifications and contract requirements. Understand and interpret contract designs, construction drawings and technical information. Monitor project costs, profitability, forecasting, valuations, variations and final accounts. Attend client, design and site meetings and communicate effectively with clients, consultants and project stakeholders. Prepare contract programmes, progress reports, contractor reports and cost/performance updates. Manage and coordinate electrical engineers, trade operatives, subcontractors and suppliers. Monitor programme,



materials, labour and resources to ensure projects remain on track. Ensure Health & Safety/CDM requirements are effectively managed and monitored throughout project delivery. Verify and authorise trade operatives’ timesheets and support effective resource management. Maintain solid client relationships and ensure exceptional levels of customer care. Support the development of new clients, suppliers and business opportunities. Identify and implement improvements to project delivery, systems and customer service. Use Princebuild’s bespoke systems and software including Microsoft Word, Excel and Project. Undertake additional duties and responsibilities in line with the progression of the role and the needs of the business.
