Lead cybersecurity and enterprise IT services for the Burnaby School District in Burnaby, supporting secure, reliable technology across District locations.
Reporting to the Director, IT Services, the Assistant Director provides operational leadership for infrastructure, applications, cybersecurity, and client support. The position aligns technology with student learning, business operations, service excellence, and District priorities. It also supports risk management, privacy, incident response, and business continuity.

Bachelor’s degree in technology, business, or related disciplineRequired CISSP, CISM, CCSP, or equivalent certificationSeven years’ progressively responsible information technology experienceThree years’ management experience in complex organizationsKnowledge of cybersecurity frameworks, privacy, and risk managementBring strategic leadership, cybersecurity expertise, and enterprise service delivery experience to the Burnaby School District’s IT Services.
